DREAME T30 REVIEW: A POWERFUL VACUUM CLEANER WITH GOOD AUTONOMY
The wireless vacuum cleaner market is increasingly speaking Chinese. Dyson remains the best known brand in the sector, able to influence it thanks to a continuous technological renewal, but more and more often we hear about names like Roidmi or Dreame, which offer well-made solutions but at a lower price. The names immediately make it clear to which divinebeautytips sphere of influence these Chinese brands belong, born and raised in the shadow of Xiaomi , but which are becoming increasingly popular in the West as well.

The excellent quality-price ratio is an inviting business
card for the Western public, Facebook Marketing and even the Dreame T30 we tested in recent weeks
manages to exploit it well to make it attractive.
Much depends on where you buy it, on Amazon it is available for around 389 euros, at this price you can get a powerful cordless vacuum marketingmediaweb cleaner with good autonomy, with many accessories and dirt detection technology that allows you to save precious battery.
Endless accessories, good build quality
In the review of the Roidmi X30 we have seen techcrunchblog how these products are sold with a large amount of accessories, not all useful but which make up a complete home cleaning package. In the case of the Roidmi X30, however, we had found some lack in terms of build quality, with the material used for the body that tended to scratch easily.
The Dreame T30 has the same amount of nanobiztech accessories but a more resistant body, at least for what we could see in the test weeks.
The list of accessories is substantial, starting globalmarketingbusiness from the 2 in 1 main brush, suitable for both tiles and carpet, the only one that can take advantage of the automatic detection of the type of surface, thus adapting the suction power. Then we have a mini electric brush, to suck dirt from fabric surfaces, such as sofas, a nozzle with a 2-in-1 brush for curtains and car interiors, a soft brush for keyboards and monitors and finally a nozzle for vacuuming areas. narrower, equipped with LED light to better highlight the dust. In addition to these accessories, there is also a flexible hose adapter, which increases maneuverability in confined spaces, and a flexible adapter for the main tube, which allows a joint at the top.
About the main tube, this is made of carbon fiber to lighten
its weight , and there is not even a wall charging stand. Charging takes place
via cable, it is not wireless, but thanks to this accessory you can store the
vacuum cleaner in an orderly way when not in use.
The first thing you notice when you pick up the Dreame T30
is the good quality of the plastics, in the classic dark gray color, typical of
these products. The weight is well balanced and the joint at the base of the 2
in 1 brush allows effective control during use. The display at the top is very
simple, there is not much information but it is good, because with two buttons
you can easily control the vacuum cleaner. One button is used to set the
suction power between Auto, Eco, Med and Turbo, the other allows you to
activate continuous suction, in this way you do not need to keep the button
pressed during use.
We were not completely convinced by the adapter with the
joint, once inserted the length of the vacuum cleaner becomes excessive,
decreasing the comfort, especially for those of average height. The joint then
tends to unlock too often by itself, just a simple pressure to see it move
without the need to press the appropriate button.
Fortunately, the weight of 1.76 kg still allows easy use,
despite the battery installed is larger than the lower models, to support the
engine power to the fullest. The battery is also removable, so you can use more
than one to extend the autonomy.
The container can hold 0.6 liters and is easily released,
furthermore the HEPA filter contained inside is washable , making it possible
to use it over time (lasts about 6 months).
All the power you need
Dreame T30 is equipped with a 150,000 rpm and 550W motor,
with a suction power of 190 AW and 27,000 PA. Dyson's direct competitor in the
same price range is the Cyclone v10, which offers a 125,000-rpm engine and 151
AW suction power, on paper less than that available on the Dreame T30.
In practice this translates into a considerable suction
force , which must however be managed well to preserve the battery, the real
weak point of these products. The Dyson proposal, for example, offers a maximum
of 60 minutes of autonomy, while Dreame T30 instead brings this value to 90
minutes.
Obviously 90 minutes at maximum power are just a mirage, the
truth is that by setting the suction on this level you can do about ten
minutes, not more. For this the "Med" mode comes in handy, which
offers a better balance and allows prolonged use, with "Eco" instead
the suction power decreases a lot and is only suitable for quick cleaning. The
automatic power adjustment function based on dirt is interesting. The vacuum
cleaner is able to detect the amount of dust present, showing it on the screen
through a graph, increasing the suction power only when needed.
We do not recommend using this mode on carpets, the fabric
tends to accumulate dust and the vacuum cleaner is always pushed to the maximum
in this case, making it difficult to move the brush.
In other contexts, however, its use is preferable because it
really allows you to save battery. Speaking of carpets, the design of the main
brush fits very well on these surfaces (as long as you do not use the maximum
power), and allows thorough cleaning in a short time.
